Introduction
These are the terms and conditions of which Christie’s Furniture supply any goods listed on this website. Please read them and ensure you understand them before you place any orders from our site. By ordering off our site you will be bound by these terms and conditions. If you are not able to agree to these terms and conditions you will not be able to order from our site. If you would like anything clarified, please contact us on 01326 373272. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Product listings & delivery times.
All products advertised by MPG Enterprises Ltd t/a Christies Furniture are subject to availability or while stocks last (as may be applicable)
At any point up until the contract is made, we may decline to supply a product to you. If we decline to supply a product to you and you have already paid for it, we will give you a full refund of any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our return and refund policy.
Any typographical or clerical error or omission on the website or in any quotation, order, acceptance, invoice, email or the company's literature issued by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Christie's Furniture at whatever time and whenever such a correction shall be necessary.
Whilst Christies Furniture shall endeavour to ensure that the details on the website or in Christies Furniture literature are accurate, at all times, all drawings, specifications, photographs, colours, weights, and information detailed in Christie's Furniture literature or the website or elsewhere relating to the goods are approximate only and do not form part of the contract. Christies Furniture shall not be held responsible for any variation of the same nor have any liability in respect thereof. For example, where a divan bed is shown with headboards, drawers and accessories these are for illustration purposes only. These items may be available at extra cost. Certain mattresses have a suggested firmness, which has been recommended directly by the supplier. However, please bear in mind that firmness levels are subjective to the customer depending on their size, weight and personal preference.
If, by mistake, we have under priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In the event we cancel your order, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our return and refund policy. Christie's Furniture make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors such as adverse weather, road works, delays in production etc. Christie's Furniture shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Any delivery times quoted are approximate guidelines only and we can not accept cancellations of items which have been physically seen or any bespoke items/special orders which have exceeded the approximate lead times providing we can supply the goods within a reasonable period of time.
Preparing for furniture delivery.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate access at the point of delivery. If it is not possible to deliver the items due to a lack of access space we will discuss and try and find solutions with you. This will be done on an individual basis. We will try our best to help. If access is not suitable though and we attempt to deliver the goods into your property where any damage is caused to your property or the product itself, we can not be held liable. 

Please note we are not obligated to cancel the order if adequate access isn’t available but if we do allow a cancellation of the order we may have to apply a charge in order to take any items back into stock. In order to ensure this situation does not occur we ask that you follow these few simple steps to ensure a hassle free delivery.
Measure the height and width of any hallways and door accesses, as well as the entry clearance.
Check the dimensions of the furniture in order to ensure the items will fit.
Clear plenty of space to allow for the delivery and any packaging materials.
Cancellation & Returns Policy.
Should you wish to cancel your order after they have been despatched, providing you did not physically see the product you have ordered you may cancel your order at any time up until 7 days after the day of delivery but you must put it in writing to us where we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods, but not any delivery charges. The cost of returning any items is the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned in their original packaging. Please note that with the exception of faulty merchandise, for hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept the return of certain items which have been opened (e.g. mattresses and pillows). Please note that a refund will only take place after the goods have been returned, inspected by our returns department and deemed to be in a suitable condition. For furniture items that require a two-man uplift you will be required to pay an uplift charge. This charge may be higher than the original delivery charge as the initial delivery cost is subsidised by Christie’s Furniture.
If your goods have not been dispatched, other than as detailed below, we will refund the full price of the items and any delivery charge to the same card or PayPal account you used to purchase the goods. If you decide to cancel items before delivery has taken place that are bespoke, made-to-measure or have been specifically ordered for you, it may be unlikely that we will be able to sell these at the full selling price to another customer or within a reasonable time or without a cost to the business. In these instances, we will not be able to cancel the order and have the right to deduct a cancellation fee from any cancellation if we do allow it. We will endeavour to avoid any such charges but in some instances this may be unavoidable. Please note that all our goods are bespoke and handmade to your specification unless they are clearly marked as ‘stock’.
